Indonesia Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions 1990-2025

Indonesia greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2020 was 976,488, a 4.35% decline from 2019.
  • Indonesia greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2019 was 1,020,914, a 4.12% increase from 2018.
  • Indonesia greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2018 was 980,510, a 7.2% increase from 2017.
  • Indonesia greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions for 2017 was 914,633, a 5.12% increase from 2016.
Total greenhouse gas emissions in kt of CO2 equivalent are composed of CO2 totals excluding short-cycle biomass burning (such as agricultural waste burning and Savannah burning) but including other biomass burning (such as forest fires, post-burn decay, peat fires and decay of drained peatlands), all anthropogenic CH4 sources, N2O sources and F-gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF6).
