Defaulted receivables are consumers? unpaid financial commitments to credit originators, including banks, credit unions, consumer finance companies and commercial retailers. Defaulted receivables may also include receivables subject to bankruptcy proceedings. They also provide debt servicing and other portfolio management services to credit originators for non-performing loans.
