The company provides residential and business telecommunication services in (i) the United Kingdom and Ireland through Virgin Media (ii) Belgium through Telenet Group Holding, and (iii) Switzerland, Poland and Slovakia through UPC Holding. Liberty Global has non-controlling interest ownership in VodafoneZiggo, which provides residential and business-to-business communications services in the Netherlands. Liberty Global completed the sale of its operations in Germany, Romania, Hungary and the Czech Republic to Vodafone. Moreover, in May, the company completed the sale of its direct-to-home satellite (DTH) operations to M7 Group, which served customers in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania. Liberty Global completed the acquisition of Sunrise Communications Group AG.
