SL Green Realty core business is the ownership of high-quality commercial properties, and primary business objective is to maximize the total return to stockholders, through strategically acquiring, redeveloping, and repositioning office properties primarily located in Manhattan, and re-leasing and managing these properties for maximum cash flow. The commercial real estate expertise resulting from owning, operating, investing, and lending in Manhattan for over many years has enabled to invest in a collection of premier office and retail properties, selected multifamily residential assets, and high-quality debt and preferred equity investments. The company has two reportable segments: real estate and debt and preferred equity (DPE) investments.
